Day 14 - Gran, Norway

We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Started out at 50 degrees and got up to 70, blue sky the entire ride. Came over a number of mountain passes  with a number of 180 degree switchbacks. No traffic to deal with. For the most part the speed limit was 70kph. or 44mph. It's amazing, most all drivers obey the posted speed limit. Same thing we observed in New Zealand. Actually it's rather nice not having people always passing or attempting to pass. Maybe that's why these folks live longer than we do.

It was only a 187 mile day so leaving at 08:00, with stops, we were at Gran at 14:30.

The church across the street from our lodging has a number of tombstones reflecting WWII and the resistance.
