Day 15 - Lillehammer, Norway

Today was going to be a really short day, only 83 miles or so, Gran to Lillehammer, taking a scenic route off the main highways. So after a fine Norwegian breakfast at our hotel we left at 09:30.

Turned out that one of the highways on our route was closed so we had to backtrack a bit. Sometimes it's really nice to be riding a GSA to deal with such situations.

Coming over a couple of passes there were cattle and sheep on the highway. Guess they were enjoying the heat from the pavement.

Coming into Lillehammer there is a great view of the 'ski flying' hill. We weren't able to get a photo.

Our hotel in Lillehammer is in the train station so is centrally located. I was able to find a fuse for the bike that I needed, plus found a barber shop.

When it rains here it really rains. As the saying goes, it comes down in buckets. The good thing is that the storms blow through. Much like what we experience in Reno.

Tomorrow is our first really long day with 6:30 of riding so it's nice to have a short day today.
