Day 24 - Malmo, Sweden

Didn't leave Tuna until 09:00 this morning, enjoying a relaxed breakfast the time just slipped away.

With the 120kph speedlimit in Sweden we made good time with our 321 mile ride. Our luck is holding. No real rain today and 71 degrees until we neared the Ocean at Malmo.

About thirty miles from Malmo on E-20 the freeway was closed and all traffic, in both directions, routed on a narrow two lane highway. We lost about an hour. Lane splitting saved the day. If we'd been in a car there would have been a three hour delay. As we to back on E-20 to head to Malmo traffic was backed up about eight miles. Can't imagine this sort of thing allowed to happen in the U.S.

Today is our 38th wedding anniversary and we celebrated with dinner at the Piccolo Mondo Restaurant, located in the city square. Jim and Rosie treated us. We then walked around the city square taking in all the activity as there is a festival of some type taking place.
