Day 2 - Kalama, WA to Vancouver, B.C., Canada

Took off at 06:45 for Vancouver to drop off the bikes at Swissport, the freight handler for Air Transat. Rode through some pretty heavy mist for the first couple of hours but the cooler weather felt great.

Crossed the border at Blaine. About a two minute wait and no problems. Got to the Vancouver Airport about 13:30 and had the bikes inspected and processed for Canadian Customs. A good crew at Swissport that made the entire process easy and fast.

Splurged and took a cab to our hotel in New Westminster, B.C., the Met Hotel.

Now we have to wait until Sunday when we'll catch our Air Transat flight to Paris (CDG). Takes two days for customs to do their thing.

While Jim and I are here in New Westminster the gals are having fun in Paris.
